TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

This qualification is for the learner who is engaged in a training and education environment or has a vocational skill at a level that supports training and education in the subject area in which it is intended to teach. Units in this qualification include; design and develop learning programs, mentor in the workplace and plan assessment activities and processes.

SIR20107 Certificate II in Community Pharmacy

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent to work at entry level in a community pharmacy. Typical functions within the community pharmacy industry for those who achieve this level of competency include serving and interacting with customers, merchandising products and controlling stock, understanding the product range and the roles and responsibilities of the pharmacy assistants and pharmacists, communicating with the customers to identify needs and provide appropriate product advice and/or referral.

SIR30107 Certificate III in Community Pharmacy

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent to work in a community pharmacy. Likely functions within the community pharmacy industry for those who achieve this level of competency include developing specialist product knowledge to support customers to prevent and/or manage health conditions, assisting in the dispensary, merchandising and marketing products and controlling stock, and the basic staff development and training.

SIR20207 Certificate II in Retail

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in a range of activities and functions requiring basic retail operational knowledge and limited practical skills in a defined context. Work would be undertaken in various retail store settings, such as specialty stores, supermarkets, department stores and retail fast food outlets. Individuals may work with some autonomy or in a team but usually under close supervision.

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in retail operations and/or supervision with the need to apply discretion and judgement. Work would be undertaken in various retail store settings, such as speciality stores, supermarkets, department stores and retail fast food outlets. Individuals may have some responsibility for others and provide or hold specific coordination or support responsibilities within a store team.

SIR40207 Certificate IV in Retail Management

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in the first line management skills of those working in the retail and/or wholesale industries. It applies to those who are managing a small retail outlet, a section or department within a larger retail store, a small wholesale outlet, or a section or department within a larger wholesale business.

This qualification is suitable for those who work in a range of support positions in human resources management. In smaller companies they may work across all human resources functional areas, and in larger companies they may be assigned responsibilities in units or business areas. Skills within this qualification focus on human resource functions such as remuneration, workforce planning, recruitment and selection, mediation and people management.
